East Java is where NUSARA's sourcing network starts. Dampit is our current sourcing area; three more areas are being developed.

Dampit: current sourcing area

NUSARA has sourcing access in Dampit, approximately 5 MT, subject to actual lot confirmation (sourcing capability, not physical stock). Read the Indonesian-language article on Dampit's geography and origin.

Developing sourcing areas

Gunung Kawi, Arjuno and Blitar currently have no confirmed NUSARA supplier, so they are not available supply. NUSARA is visiting farmers directly, building relationships, meeting local community contacts and collectors where needed, and recording location, coffee type, supply capability and lot characteristics. Deeper origin pages will follow once verified lot-level information exists.

NUSARA's role

NUSARA coordinates sourcing, specification and quality verification. We do not own farms or hold exclusive sourcing rights. NUSARA does not own a processing facility and does not yet have a fixed processing partner. It is developing relationships with processing partners to prepare and verify commercial lots according to buyer requirements.

Traceability

Each lot can be traced through the stages that formed it, and origin is disclosed according to the actual sourcing lot.
