Java Robusta Green Coffee Beans

Green Robusta is NUSARA's current commercial focus. We coordinate Java Robusta supply to buyer specifications for factories, roasteries and commercial coffee buyers.

Commercial Java Robusta

NUSARA supplies commercial green Robusta rather than positioning it as specialty grade. Buyers typically look at it for pricing, available volume and consistency in blending, roasting and distribution.

Where it is sourced

Current sourcing access is in Dampit, East Java, with a developing network across Gunung Kawi, Arjuno and Blitar (not yet available supply). Lots are confirmed per lot, and a multi-source lot is never described as single-origin.

Buyer specification to quotation

NUSARA works from the buyer specification: buyer specification, then NUSARA sourcing, then processing and quality preparation, then lot verification, then quotation. Buyers can request:

• Coffee type
• Screen size
• Moisture
• Defect parameters
• Preparation
• Packaging
• Quantity, destination and delivery terms

Quality and defect parameters are confirmed against the actual commercial lot and buyer specification. NUSARA does not use a fixed "NUSARA grade".

Processing

NUSARA does not own a processing facility and does not yet have a fixed processing partner. It is developing relationships with processing partners to prepare and verify commercial lots according to buyer requirements.

Quantities and samples

The public MOQ target is 5 MT of bulk green Robusta; smaller trials are case by case. Samples are prepared from the relevant available lot whenever possible, with the arrangement confirmed case by case.
